I wanted to take this opportunity to express how proud I am of our employees here at DuPont Community Credit Union. A key part of DCCU’s mission is a genuine commitment to our community. We strive to give back to our community the same way we serve our members every day – with a sincere dedication to affect real, lasting, and positive change in people’s lives.
In this issue, you’ll see the ways in which your credit union is carrying through on its mission – including the $13,460.61 our employees raised for the American Cancer Society, the volunteer efforts of DCCU staff during our “Day of Caring” for the United Way, and the progress we’ve made on our annual United Way campaign (our campaigns have raised an average of $19,552 in the past two years). Additionally, DCCU is being recognized with a first place Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Recognition Award and a first place Desjardins Adult Financial Education Award.
Of course, the primary focus at DuPont Community Credit Union is providing great solutions and service to our members. What you’ll read in this issue of The Asset reinforces the fact that our credit union is dedicated to helping people. That’s what makes our credit union and our people so special. I’m proud of our employees and of DCCU and I think that after reading the rest of this issue, you will be too.
Thank you for your continued support of our member-owned financial cooperative.
