DCCU offers a variety of banking services to members, including cashier's checks, safe deposit boxes, notary services, and wire transfers.

Cashier's Checks

Members can enjoy three (3) complimentary cashier’s checks each month.  Subsequent checks are $1.00 each. 


Direct Deposit

Enjoy the convenience of having your payroll check automatically and safely deposited into your DCCU Account with Direct Deposit. Here's how to locate the information you need for Direct Deposit:

  • From Online Banking or the Mobile App, Login to your account and then click on the account you want to have your payroll check deposited into. 
  • Under the Details section you will see the Routing Number as well as your Account Number.

We have a Notary Public at each of our locations. These services are available at no cost to our members.

Offered at our offices listed below. This table is not reflective of available boxes, contact us for availability. Annual rent is automatically deducted from the designated account each year on the Safe Deposit Box rental renewal date.

Wire Transfers

  • $25 fee for outgoing domestic wire transfers
  • $15 fee for Online Banking outgoing domestic wire transfers
  • $40 fee for outgoing foreign wire transfers
  • $5 fee for incoming business wire transfers
  • No fee for incoming domestic wire transfers 
  • Cut-off for outgoing domestic wires is 5:00 p.m.
  • Cut-off for outgoing international wires is 4:00 p.m.
  • Incoming wires received by 5:00 p.m. will receive same day credit

Signature Guarantee

For your convenience we have Medallion Signature Guarantors at several of our offices, free of charge to all members. These locations include Community Way, Woodstock, Lexington, Lucy Lane, and Kaylor Member Centers.

More about Signature Guarantees

A signature guarantee is for members selling, redeeming, or transferring registered securities such as stocks, bonds, or mutual funds. We can perform signature guarantees on transactions up to $500,000.

In order to successfully perform a signature guarantee we must be able to determine each of the following:

  • You are the appropriate person to request the transaction
  • You are acting within your legal capacity to sign the transaction request or instruction form
  • Your signature is genuine
  • That you have maintained an account with DCCU for at least 6 months prior to the request for guarantee

In order to expedite the guarantee process, please bring the following

  • Valid photo ID
  • A document proving your ownership of the security you wish to sell, redeem, or transfer (Stock Certificate, most recent Mutual Fund Statement, etc.)
  • Any other documents (e.g. Power of attorney, Qualification of Fiduciary) demonstrating your legal capacity to act on the account
  • Any and all joint owners of the security, as they will need to sign. Joint owners must also present valid identification

NOTE: A Medallion signature guarantee is not the same as an act performed by a notary. For DCCU to perform this more complex service, our guarantors will have to gain an understanding of the transaction requiring the Medallion stamp and your relationship to it. Please bring the necessary materials listed above and allow adequate time for us to perform this important service. For non-security transactions, a Signature Validation Stamp may apply.
