2021 Economic Impact Payments

The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 was signed into law on March 11, 2021, which will provide Economic Impact Payments to eligible individuals. The first round of payments are now pending in accounts with a release date of Wednesday, March 17, 2021.

DCCU does not have any information regarding missing payments. It is our responsibility to process the payments provided to us by the IRS, which will be sent in batches over the coming weeks. Not all members will receive their funds at the same time. If you are expecting payment, we encourage you to visit for more information. You can also check your account in Online Banking and the Mobile App, or you can sign up for Mobile Alerts to be notified when funds have posted to your account.

As a reminder, please be aware of scams regarding Economic Impact Payments. If you receive a call, email, or text message saying the IRS needs money or personal information (social security number, account number, debit/credit card number, etc.) before sending your payment, do not respond.  

Below are answers to some commonly asked questions:

  • Why have I not received my payment?
    The IRS is sending payments in batches. If you are eligible, your payment may be part of a later group.
  • How can I check the status of my payment?
    Visit the Economic Impact Payments web page provided by the IRS to check your payment status.  
  • My Economic Impact Payment is showing as “Pending” in my account – can DCCU release the funds sooner?
    No, the release date is set by the IRS.
