Updates

Congratulations to Chairman Everett J. Campbell, Director Marvin G. Copeland, and Associate Director Janet P. Mangun on their election to DCCU’s Board of Directors, as announced at DCCU’s Virtual Annual Meeting on March 30, 2021. Mr. Campbell and Mr. Copeland were elected to serve three-year terms, and Mrs. Mangun will serve a one year term, the last year of former Director Les Ramsey’s term.

Each year the Governance Committee is tasked with seeking member volunteers for open positions on the DCCU Board of Directors, Supervisory Committee, and Governance Committee.  Nominations will be accepted June 1, 2021 through June 30, 2021 for positions opening in 2022.

There will be three three-year terms expiring on the Board in 2022 for Mr. Michael P. Blinn, Ms. Angela Simonetti, and Mrs. Janet Mangun.  Details about volunteer openings and the nomination process will be available at mydccu.com on June 1, 2021. 

DCCU’s Board of Directors is comprised of members who volunteer their time and expertise to the membership by overseeing the management of the credit union. Board Members serve three-year terms and are elected by the membership.

Committees

In addition to the Board of Directors, there are other volunteer committees that assist with oversight of DCCU.

Supervisory Committee – Appointed by the Board of Directors to oversee the operation of the Credit Union and act as a member advocate. The Supervisory Committee wants DCCU to be operated in a financially safe and sound manner so that member assets are protected:

Governance Committee – Responsible for ongoing review and recommendations concerning the governance of the credit union to enhance the leadership quality, effectiveness, and strategic impact of the Board and all elements of the governance structure; and, to refresh and renew the Board through a thoughtful Board member nominations and development process.
