And it’s a concept that can be enhanced by something as simple as remembering small details – something Kendall Neff, Assistant Branch Manager at our Woodstock location, understands well. Kendall’s approach is rooted in a simple but powerful principle – serving with empathy. “Building trusted relationships with our members is rewarding for me, and I look forward to seeing members from visit to visit,” said Kendall. And these efforts haven’t gone unnoticed. “When you’re in a community like Woodstock, where everyone knows everyone, building lasting relationships isn’t just important – it’s essential,” she said. “Members are sometimes surprised when I remember what we previously talked about, but I’ll always go the extra mile to make our members feel valued.”

Kendall’s dedication to service extends beyond the branch. She also enjoys participating in our corporate volunteer program, which connects DCCU employees with various service projects and volunteer opportunities across the Shenandoah Valley. Kendall is committed to supporting our community, often offering her time and skills to lend a helping hand. “Volunteerism is such a rewarding experience. You can build connections, learn about the community, and grow as a person,” said Kendall.

Connection and purpose go hand-in-hand for Kendall, who finds meaning in her role at DCCU. “I find purpose by going above and beyond for every member to make positive and long-lasting impressions of DCCU,” she said. “We provide our members with financial products and services that help empower them in their financial journey.
