Preparing for the 2021 Tax Season

Tax season is here and DCCU wants to help you prepare by answering some frequently asked questions:

Q: When will I receive my tax information from DCCU?
A: DCCU’s 2021 tax documents will be available within Online Banking or mailed via US mail by January 24, 2022.

Q: Where do I find my tax statement in Online Banking?
A: Login to Online Banking click Statements and Documents, located under More Links on the navigation bar. Your tax statement will be located in the Tax Forms and Notices section by January 24, 2022.

Q: What is DCCU’s routing number?
A: DCCU’s routing number is 251483311.

Q: What is my account number?
A: Your account number can be found by logging into Online Banking and clicking View my Accounts in the navigation bar, selecting your account nickname in the accounts list, your account number is shown at the top of the Activity section.

Q: Where can I find Direct Deposit information?
A: Direct Deposit information can be found within Online Banking or the Mobile App. After logging in to Online Banking, click View my Accounts in the navigation bar, selecting your account nickname in the accounts list, then finding the Account Number and Routing Number fields in the information panel. From the Mobile App, tap Accounts select your account nickname in the account list, then click Details you will find the Account Number and Routing Number fields in the information panel.

Q: When will I receive my refund by Direct Deposit?
A: DCCU can help alert you when your refund has been deposited through the balance alert feature. Log in to Online Banking then click Alerts under More Links on the navigation bar, then Balance Alerts, use the dropdown arrow to Add/Edit an alert. Online Banking also allows you to see pending deposits by clicking View my Accounts on the navigation bar, selecting an account nickname and pending deposits will show at the top of the Activity section.

Q: Will I receive a 1099-INT form?
A: If your account earned $10 or more in dividends in 2021, a 1099-INT form will be issued for your account by mail or within Online Banking. You can access this form online by logging in to Online Banking, click Statements and Documents, located under More Links on the navigation bar. Your 1099-INT form should be located in the Tax Forms and Notices section. If you didn’t receive a 1099-INT form, it is likely that your account earned less than $10 in 2021. You can double check the amount of interest you earned in 2021 by viewing your December 2021 statement.

Q: Will I receive a 1098 form?
A: If you hold a mortgage or a Home Equity Line of Credit with DCCU, a 1098 form for 2021 will soon be available in Online Banking or mailed. You can access this form online by logging in to Online Banking, click Statements and Documents, located under More Links on the navigation bar. Your 1098 form should be located in the Tax Forms and Notices section. If you didn’t receive a 1098 form, it is likely that you paid less than $10 in interest expense in 2021. You can double check the amount of interest you paid in 2021 by viewing your December 2021 statement.
