Preparing for the 2019 Tax Season

Tax season is here and DCCU wants to help you prepare by answering some frequently asked questions:

Q: When will I receive my tax information from DCCU?
A: DCCU’s 2019 tax documents will be available within Online Banking or mailed via US mail by January 24, 2020.

Q: Where do I find my tax statement in Online Banking?
A: Login to Online Banking click Documents, located on the right. Your tax statement will be located in the eNotices section by January 24, 2020.

Q: What is DCCU’s routing number?
A: DCCU’s routing number is 251483311.

Q: What is my account number?
A: Your account number can be found by logging into Online Banking, the Mobile App, or by calling us. Your Federal and/or State tax refund will not be posted and will be returned if your account number is incorrect. Please review your tax app/software or consult your tax advisor before you file your 2019 taxes to ensure your account number is correct.

Online Banking: 

  • Log in to your account 
  • From the upper right menu choose Alerts and Settings 
  • Select Forms 
  • Choose member, account, and view form 
  • Use the 14 digit Account Number

Mobile App: 

  • Log in to your account 
  • From the upper left menu choose Alerts and Settings 
  • Select Direct Deposit Info
  • Use the 14 digit MICR #

Q: Where can I find Direct Deposit information?
A: Direct Deposit information can be found within Online Banking or the Mobile App. After logging in to Online Banking, click Account Nickname and under Account Details there is a button that says Show Direct Deposit Information. From the Mobile App, tap Alerts and Settings to find a link to Direct Deposit information.

Q: When will I receive my refund by Direct Deposit?
A: DCCU can help alert you when your refund has been deposited through the balance alert feature. Log in to Online Banking then click Alerts & Settings, then Manage Alerts, then Add/Edit a New Alert. Online Banking also allows you to see pending deposits by clicking Account Activity and viewing the Pending Transactions section.

Q: Will I receive a 1099-INT form?
A: If your account earned $10 or more in dividends in 2019, a 1099-INT form will be issued for your account by mail or within Online Banking. You can access this form online by logging in to Online Banking, clicking Documents, located on the right. Your 1099-INT form should be located in the eNotices section. If you didn’t receive a 1099-INT form, it is likely that your account earned less than $10 in 2019. You can double check the amount of interest you earned in 2019 by viewing your December 2019 statement.

Q: Will I receive a 1098 form?
A: If you hold a mortgage or a Home Equity Line of Credit with DCCU, a 1098 form for 2019 will soon be available in Online Banking or mailed. You can access this form online by logging in to Online Banking, clicking Documents, located on the right. Your 1098 form should be located in the eNotices section. If you didn’t receive a 1098 form, it is likely that you paid less than $10 in interest expense in 2019. You can double check the amount of interest you paid in 2019 by viewing your December 2019 statement.

Q: Are there any tax preparation discounts for DCCU members?

A: Yes, DCCU supports the following versions:
